Below you will find prayer intentions sent to the St. Gianna Shrine Committee that have been requested to be made public.  The St. Gianna and St. Patrick Parish community continues to keep these and all intentions in our prayers.  We invite you to share your intentions and to join us in prayer.

My beloved wife, Lucyna, is in her 2nd battle with stage 4 gastric cancer. Recent blood work revealed a rise in cancer markers. We have a petscan 9/5/25 and are scared. WE NEED A MIRACLE! - Jerry D. (09.01.25)

My father expired on 01/01/2025. I have taken the charge & ownership of our family's technical business since then. The first few months went well. Recently 2 of our highly skilled experienced technicians has left the job. 1 more highly skilled experienced technician will also leave the job after a month or so. Our business organization will be under severe threat due to acute crisis of skilled technical manpower due to their sudden resignation & shortage of expert technical staff. Our decades long family business will be under threat due to crisis of expert technical manpower. It seems that we have to shut down our family business due to shortage of technicians if their equivalent substitutes are not being found within due time. I have been searching for expert technicians to fill their gaps but is unable to find any suitable few. Kindly pray to the almighty lord to make everything ok & help me in finding expert substitutes of the skilled technicians which has left our business organization. Pray so that no adverse situation affects our organization & avoid all chances of shutting down our family business. I am reaching out to ask for urgent prayer over my our family and over our financial situation. I was hurt in a car accident about 5 years ago and since then I have had issues with my neck. I have 2 bulging disc in my back which affect my nervous system and know both of my knees are hurting I have one toe on my right foot that is hurting and my heel on the left foot has a deep callus and my feet swell and several issues with numbness and tingling in both of hands my right eye also swollen. I'm 43 yes old using a cane and walker I've always been the financial provider for my family my husband as well is disabled. He also has a wound on his inner right thigh. My son had a surgery on his lower back where his tail bone is to remove a abcesse he had and it's been over a year and no matter what we do it doesn't seem to heal up right. I also am caregiver to 2 uncles who are disabled one of whom is mentally disabled and the other mentally and physically disabled. I've pretty much have been caregiver to my relatives since I was very young. My grandparents who raised me both passed 9 months apart about 3 years ago and I try to keep up with everything and all their needs and some times I'm so overwhelmed and stressed out but I try my hardest to keep going. And even with issues I have with my health the concern over our financial needs overwhelmed me as well, I try to stay strong and pray and remind my self that the lord almighty and our blessed mother Virgin Mary is always with us. I don't have anyone to physically pray with me and If it is possible please please please pray for my family I would love with all my heart to visit your parish but I don't have the means to do so and physically I don't know if it will ever be possible. Can I trouble you to pray for my 27 year old son, SM? He's in a very unhealthy relationship with for 5 years despite many breakups. People see serious red flags but no one tells SM (& he doesn't ask for input). Can you please pray that SM seeks Christ's most perfect will for him with regard to his relationship with Ann? For SM to enlightened by Christ's truth? That he has clarity, courage and conviction to be obedient to God's will? Can you also pray that SM seek wise counsel? Perhaps from a priest or spiritual director? I've gently suggested this but he has not made any effort. I'm blessed in so many ways because my son attends weekly Mass and regular confession. He tries to be a good man. A bit of background: Despite so many break ups (SM breaks up with Ann and she then convinces him that they belong together) Ann wants to get engaged this year and SM is seriously considering it. At this point, the relationship is comfortable and Ann is very good at convincing him that they have a wonderful relationship. And, sadly, SM is weak in this area. Additionally, Ann was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder a few years ago, but does not seek treatment. Can you also please pray for the protection of SM and Ann? Can you please pray that I will stop comparing myself to other girls and get over those insecurities that cause me to compare/judge myself to others. I have struggled with this most of my life and have always felt like the runner up with everything I've ever done.
